O God of truth, by whose grace we have seen with our eyes and touched with our hand the bread of life: strengthen our faith that we may grow in love for you and for one another, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen

                                    Notices

Pastoral Visitation - Pastoral visitation is an important part of any church's ministry and can't just be done by one person.  With that in mind, we would like to set up official visitation teams who work in collaboration with the clergy.  In this day of political correctness and GDPR, there are certain measures that we need to follow when visiting.  With that in mind we have asked Bob Banton from the Diocese to run a 4 week course (one evening a week) on pastoral visitation after Easter.  Would you be interested in being part of the pastoral visitation team?  If so, can you give your name to Andrew or Alan asap.  Once we have numbers, we can let Bob know, and sort out a start date.  Thank you.

Norma would appreciate if any drivers could make themselves available once or twice a year on a rota basis to take her to give our housebound friends Communion on the first Tuesday of the month it would be greatly appreciated.  The more who can help makes it easier on everyone.

The Banner Group have a new banner project.  We can't tell you what it is, but if you would like your name to be added we are charging 1 and this money will go towards the children's work here in St Philip's Church.

Prayer/Study Group - meet at Norma's on a Monday evening at 7.30pm.  Everyone welcome.

Home Communion - Home Communion will be taken out on the 5th February.  If you know of anyone who would like to have Communion at home please see or contact Norma in church

Parish Office - Bookings for baptisms and weddings will take place on Thursday 7th February from 7-8pm in church.  Please contact Alan Finch on 928 3919 for more information.

Foodbank Team - We are on duty next at St Leonard's on 8th February. With grateful thanks to everyone who helps us so much.

Articles needed for the magazine - We really do need articles for our magazine.  Maybe you have memories to share about St Philips or Litherland; a poem or story that has made you smile, or a photograph of past  times.  Hope to hear from you - Pauline.
