The demolition of the shelter - this was erected for use during the Second World War when the Hall was used at a First Aid Post.

During the ensuing years it has had other uses - The Youth Fellowship used it for their disco sessions and had decorated the interior walls to suit their tastes!!

In more recent years it has been our 'store room' and has housed a great variety of goods.  It has been most useful and although demolishing it has enhanced the look of the Hall and will provide further car parking space it will be sorely missed for the storage space it provided.          Pat Martin
